About Our Founder

The Late Alhaji Rashid Hammed Ali founded Intercotra Ghana limited in 1973 and rendered shipping & logistics services to and from Ghana to the rest of the world for several years. He was a successful Entrepreneur, Ghanaian ship owner and logistician who acquired a ship-The Tema Princess– which was plying the West Coast of Africa and held shipping agency for major shipping lines like Baco Liner, Med Africa and more.
Baba’s lifetime of rich and meaningful achievements created a roadmap to guide us to make our lives more fruitful and our community stronger and more caring. He was led by a few simple, yet powerful principles:
Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God
Integrity and Truthfulness
Dedication to Family
It is not then surprising to see Transglobal which has the DNA of Intercotra, is currently one of the successful and leading Logistics Company’s in Ghana
